Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 June 2026

These terms cover the free teardown and a paid Keenhound engagement. They're written plainly and aren't legal advice; a client engagement is governed by these terms plus the agreement you sign at onboarding, which restates the same guarantee and cancellation wording below.

1. What Keenhound does

Keenhound is a creative-only studio: we produce short-form performance ad creative for dog-supplement brands, built from your brand's own real footage and photos with AI used to create fresh angles around them. We are not a media-buying agency. We never log in to your ad account, control your spend or bids, or manage your campaigns. You run your own media; we feed the creative engine behind it.

2. The free teardown

You can send one ad and receive a free video with 3 ad ideas, with no obligation. The ideas are illustrative; sending them doesn't start a paid engagement or transfer any ownership. We only work with dog-supplement brands and may decline a request that's out of scope.

3. The guarantee

Canonical guarantee & remedy

One fresh ad beats your best one every month, or you don't pay. Each calendar month, at least one ad we make will beat the best ad you're currently running — measured on at least one of three creative metrics: stopping the scroll (hook rate), holding attention (hold), or earning clicks (link CTR) — judged side-by-side in your own account.

You pay for month one upfront. If a month closes and not one of our ads has beaten your best, you don't pay for the next month — it's free — and we keep making fresh ads until one wins. You keep every ad we made. You are never out more than that first month.

We only promise the part we control — the creative. We never promise sales, revenue, or ROAS, because your offer, price, and website aren't ours to control. A "win" is a creative-metric win, not a sales guarantee.

The benchmark is the best-performing ad you're running at the start of the cycle. Comparisons use the numbers in your own account; because we're creative-only, the measurement depends on the data you make available to us read-only. If you change offers, landing pages, or audiences mid-cycle in a way that distorts the comparison, we'll agree a fair re-baseline together.

4. Pricing, billing & cancellation

Plans are a flat monthly retainer billed in advance through our payment processor. Month-to-month, cancel anytime with two weeks' notice. There is no fixed-term lock-in. If a guarantee month fails, the free month is applied as a credit so no charge is taken for it. Cancelling stops future months; the upfront first month is non-refundable except as provided by the guarantee.

5. Your brand media & usage rights

You keep ownership of all media you give us — your photos, video clips, footage of dogs, logos, and brand assets. By providing them you confirm you have the rights to do so (including any necessary consent for people or animals shown), and you grant Keenhound a non-exclusive, limited licence to use, edit, and combine them with AI to produce ad creative for you only, for the duration of the engagement and within the consent scope and expiry you set at onboarding.

6. AI & claims compliance

AI is a private production tool, not the product. Every asset is human-reviewed, AI-disclosure compliant where required, and kept claims-light ("supports joint mobility," never disease claims). You're responsible for confirming that claims fit your product and your regulatory context before you run an ad; we'll flag anything that looks risky.

7. Your responsibilities

8. Liability

The service is provided as described. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the month the claim relates to, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including ad spend, lost sales, or account actions taken by the ad platform). Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes affecting active clients will be communicated directly. Questions: hello@keenhound.com.

One source of truth. The guarantee and cancellation wording in sections 3 and 4 is the canonical text; the same wording appears in the agreement you sign at onboarding and in your client dashboard, so the site, the app, and your contract never disagree.
